CAMPING
  1. No fixed pitches Campers use a selection of fields dependent on livestock grazing and haymaking.


  1. No electricity hook-up Enjoy the sounds of the countryside without your hair-dryer or DAB radio.


  1. No hot water or showers Mains water taps are available in the fields for your use.


  1. Environmentally friendly compost toilets and long-drops.


  1. We allow campfires provided no damage to the ground is caused, i.e the fire is on a fire pan, brazier or BBQ. We have handmade fire pan’s available free of charge.


  1. Well behaved dogs are allowed by arrangement. We have free range livestock including lambs and poultry, so dogs must be kept under close control at all times.


  1. We ask that you leave your camping area clear and tidy for the grazing animals.


  1. Sorted recycling can be left in the marked bins.


  1. Please take other rubbish home.

Farm Shop

We sell our own Organic Beef and Lamb for barbeques including:

• Beef steaks, Beef burgers, Beef sausages

Lamb steaks, Lamb burgers-minted, Lamb sausage

• Eggs - Hen, Goose and Duck (in season)

• Salad bags

• Also Free-range rare-breed Pork sausages from a neighbouring farm.

Farm Walks

We can provide farm walks to groups of 6 or more people free of charge.


We offer a general tour of the farm and animals, which includes organic production, conservation and archaeology etc etc.


We offer a ‘back to basics’ camping experience on our working farm. Our limited facilities are offset by the panoramic views of the Peak District and stunning sunsets to the west.
